Geisha!!

A Geisha (芸 者? ), Pronounced gueisha , is a Japanese traditional performing artist , whose works were , after learning that could be both 15 years or childhood , entertain at parties, meetings or banquets thus exclusively feminine or masculine as mixed 

Today, the traditional makeup of the apprentice geisha is one of the most recognizable characteristics , though the geisha generally used the characteristic makeup of maiko , consisting of all-white face , for special presentations.

The traditional makeup of the apprentice geisha consists of a white base (originally made with lead) , wearing red lipstick and red and black embellishments around the eyes and eyebrows.

Geishas always use kimono. The apprentice geisha wear colorful kimonos with extravagant obi. The older geisha used more muted styles and designs . It is also important to note the length of the sleeves. The apprentice ( maiko ) use furisode sleeves that reach almost to the ground . As they age and advancing the profession, become a Tomesode sleeves , shorter and darker color and cutting more elegant.

The color , design and style of the kimono are seasonal and event that geishas are attending . In winter, geisha can be seen wearing a haori ( coat ) adorned with painted silk over their kimono. The lined kimonos are worn during cold seasons and light chiffon or thirst.
