The women tattooed face of Myanmar (Burma)
Legend has it that long ago, a King Burmese touring his kingdom when he met a beautiful young woman who belonged to the ethnic Chin. The king courted her and soon after abandoned her.
The rest of the women to learn what happened, afraid of suffering the same fate, their faces painted black using charcoal. The trick black makeup lasted little and eventually were forced to set the color black on your skin permanently tattooed with drawings.
Thus, women chose Chin hide her beauty forever without ensuring at all with that rejection of the cruel King. This tradition has been kept alive for centuries.
